I love meeting people and getting into conversation about each others’ business or career profession. I approach people and speak to them everyday, some making more than me, others not making near what I make. If you have been in a network marketing business opportunity for any length of time, you have been asked how you were doing with the particular business that you are affiliated with, being in the direct sales arena for some years now, thats generally one fo the top questions posed to me when presenting any opportunity, from some of the people you have approached.
For new people or those who have NOT had success yet, that is a tough objection to overcome…unless you know exactly what to say! This little pointer that my upline sponsor shared with me, will help you overcome this easy inquiry about “How Much are You Making?”
Sure there are many variations of this question, such as:
- How much have you made?
- How are you doing with it?
Now, keep in mind that a lot of the people that ask you this are cynical or skeptical people that, quite frankly, no level of MLM training will help you actually convert many of them, nor will they really commit to the level of performance needed to actually create a successful cash flow let alone any residual income from any business opportunity. This type of objection is usually raised by the type of person that actuall is comfortable living within their means, exchanging their hour of labor for a specific dollar amount, living paycheck to paycheck.
This mlm training will help you feel better whether you have had any level of success or not. To Overcome, First Layout a planned response in your mind, if you are not already achieving the results you are planning on. Once you are prepared to overcome this objection with ease, it will become second nature until you can show your proof of income, in the near future.
Now, when they ask you this type of question of YOUR success, you simply answer them this way:
“I am just getting started with this incredible income vehicle and opportunity and see the potential, but the guy/gal that is training me and will be training you is _____________”
and he/she is already
A) Making $40,000 – $50,000 per month
B) creating millions of dollars in income in the industry
C) earning significant cash bonuses, several vacation awards, qualifying for a brand new car and so forth….
If You Are NOT Enrolling 5+ or more People Per Month, It is your demeanor, your attitude, not the words coming out of your mouth.
You read that correctly. If you are not enrolling at least one new person into your business per week or five per month, it is unlikely you need a new objection handling script, it is more likely the vibration you are giving off, a simple lack of numbers or your mindset. Always look at your results you currently have right now, not your level of knowledge you believe you have. Improve your skills and how you present yourself, and this will equate directly into the improvement of your income.
