Preservation Of Wealth – What they Sell

Lets start out with Preservation of Wealth (POW). Preservation of wealth is a network marketing company that started in 2009 around the same time that Numis Network started. Numis Network – What they sell

Preservation of Wealth Compensation Plan

POW has 4 different ways that you can get paid. The main compensation plan is the Binary plan. The binary plan is what allows you to get the residual income. With binary plans you have to build to legs, which means you have a person on your left and one on your right. After you have people on both legs everyone else that you personally recruit goes under either your left leg or your right leg. In the binary plan you only get paid on the leg that produces the least amount of business another way to say it is that you get paid on your week leg.

Numis Network Compensation plan

Numis network has 14 different ways that you can get paid in addition to offering luxury vacations and having a BMW program. They also use the binary compensation plan like POW does. Numis’ binary plan is slightly different than POW’s. They have attached the coded bonus to the binary plan, the coded bonus allows distributors to profit from both the strong leg and the weak leg. You can actually make more money from your strong leg unlike other network marketing companies that use the binary compensation plan. The coded bonus has created the largest checks in network marketing.

Preservation of Wealth Leadership

POW was started by Justin Davis and Randy Garcia. After researching Justin Davis I could not find anything that shows he has any experience in MLM.

Randy Garcia is the IT Director of POW. He has created MLM specific software and also accounting software. Randy’s has over 25 years of experience in programming and managing million dollar IT projects for federal, state and private businesses.

Numis Network Leadership

Numis was founded by Chris Kent, Jake Kevorkian, and Ian Cordell.

Jake Kevorkian has over 20 years of experience in network marketing, not only was he a network marketing rep before but he also became the #1 income earner and also went on to become president and owner of the company.

Chris Kent and Ian Cordell both have over 20 years of experience in network marketing. Together they started a telecom company in 1994 and grew it to over 300,000 customers. For the last 10 years they have owned the International Direct Selling Technology Corp (IDSTC). The IDSTC has created compensation plans for over 400 network marketing companies, so they no what works and what doesn’t work when it comes to comp plans.

Why I chose Numis Network

After reviewing Preservation Of Wealth and Numis Network I decided to join Numis network. Preservation of Wealth offers an MLM home business opportunity that markets gold and silver coins, bullion and numismatics to customers within the United States. Preservation of Wealth was founded in July of 2009 by Justin Davis with the idea of offering a highly desirable product, in this case gold, silver and other precious metals at cost to program members. Members of Preservation of Wealth pay a $249 annual membership fee. With this membership fee they receive two Silver Eagle Coins graded MS-69 by either PCGS or NCG grading services. Members also receive an ownership stake in the company giving them an opportunity to build a lucrative home based business. The compensation plan works the same as it does for members. Every personal membership referral is worth $100 and 100 BV. Referrals from the 2nd and 3rd generation are worth $10 and also 100 BV. There are no commissions generated or BV awarded for recruiting individuals at the sales rep level.

In addition to these two levels a prospective member can also sign up for a free two week trial. During this time the prospective member will receive a own storename and have full access to the back office and marketing tools. They can market Preservation of Wealth as a Sales Rep and also maintain the business volume that is built during that time. The sales volume that builds in their teams counts towards their commission. At the end of the trial period, the individual will be asked to join with either the member or the Sales Rep option.

In addition to the membership opportunity, both sales reps and members of Preservation of Wealth have the opportunity to accumulate American Silver Eagle coins through the Optionship program. This optional program allows the individual to receive an American Silver Eagle coin each month that is graded MS-69 by either PCGS or NGC. The cost for the optionship program is $50 per month. In addition each optionship generates 35 BV each month, regardless of what level of the individual’s business team the Optionship comes from.

Preservation of Wealth operates with a binary compensation plan, meaning that each individual who comes into the business will have right team and a left team. There is no limitation to the overall size of an individual’s business team. Team bonuses can be generated from all levels and either side of the individual’s team as well. Retirement Savers’ Struggle and Gets Worse as More 401(k) Savers Take Loans

At first blush, the vital signs suggest that the patient is neither in intensive care nor ready to be discharged.

Yes, 401(k) loans and withdrawals rose slightly in the first half of 2010, but other signs suggest retirement savers are better off than they were two years ago, according to some new data.

There are some worrisome vital signs. An all-time high of 17.5% of defined-contribution participants had loans outstanding as of June 2010, up from 16.5% at year-end 2009, according to the Investment Company Institute, which tracks the activity of some 24 million Americans saving for retirement.

And in the first half of 2010, 2.1% of defined-contribution plan participants took withdrawals, up from 1.8% in the first half of 2009. Still, there’s a positive sign: those figures are well below those recorded in 2008, when 3.9% of participants took out a withdrawal.

Another good vital sign: just 1.5% of defined-contribution plan participants stopped contributing in the first half of 2010, compared with 4.6% in the same time frame in 2009. Go to this ICI page to find the report on 401(k) activity in the first half of 2010.

What to make of those numbers?

In short, the loans and withdrawals merely reflect the times in which we live. “What we might be seeing is the continued impact of extended high levels of unemployment,” said Chris Carosa of FiduciaryNews.com. “Those who continue to be employed continue to make contributions, but as non-retirement savings accounts dry up, unemployed workers might be turning to their retirement savings to draw money down.”

With unemployment running close to 10%, it’s quite possible that 401(k) loans and withdrawals might rise even more this year. But experts say there’s plenty to consider before you start raiding your retirement savings to make ends meet.

US Investment “TIPS” Bonds Yield Negative Interest!

First-Ever TIPS Auction at Negative Yield: What It Means to the US Consumers, Workers, taxpayers, and retiree’s in the coming years.

It’s perhaps the most fundamental law of lending: People extend credit to a borrower today with the expectation that they’ll be paid back, with interest, in the future.

But a U.S. government bond offering on Monday appeared to defy this fundamental law. The offering of $10 billion in Treasury Inflation Protected Securities (known as TIPS) was priced to yield an interest rate of -.55 percent. That’s negative .55 percent. The deal: You give the government $105.50 today. Over the next five years you get annual interest payments of 50 cents and $100 in cash. The interest payments are adjusted for inflation — if prices rise, the interest payments rise a bit. At the end of five years, investors receive their $100 back. But that sum is also adjusted for inflation. If the CPI rises by five percent in the five-year period, an investor would receive $105. If inflation is flat over that period, the investor would only get $100.

Have we really come to a state where the government is lending to us?

No. Interest rates on government bonds are dictated by many factors. Chief among them are views about growth and inflation. When investors believe growth and inflation are going to be muted, they accept lower rates of return. When they believe growth and inflation are on the rise, and are likely to increase in the future, they demand higher rates of return. When there’s widespread concern over deflation and economic contraction, investors might go so far as to accept negative returns. If you think a dollar today might only be worth 96 cents in two years, an investment that guarantees you 98 cents in two years might appear to be a good deal. That’s happened in Japan.

Is that what is happening here?

Not really. Interest rates on U.S. government bonds are — and have been — extremely low for the past two years. And rates on the shortest-term debt are close to zero. But yields on the standard U.S. government bonds are not negative.

So these aren’t the usual bonds?

Right. They’re a special class of bonds called Treasury Inflation Protected Securities, or TIPS. (Learn more about TIPS here.) Inflation, which generally leads to higher interest rates, erodes the value of bonds carrying fixed interest rates. So in 1997, Treasury devised a bond whose value and interest rate would be explicitly tied to the rate of inflation. Generally speaking, TIPS are supposed to pay an interest rate that equals the difference between the interest rate on a Treasury bond of the same duration minus the expected inflation rate, as measured by the Consumer Price Index. If a 5-year bond yields three percent but the expected annual inflation rate over the five-year period is two percent, a TIPS will carry an annual interest coupon of one percent. In effect, these bonds are insurance against inflation.

When you look at the list of recent auctions, it shows that the interest rate on the TIPS sold was .5 percent, but the annual yield is -.55 percent. How can that be?

In today’s market, investors believe that interest rates will remain remarkably low, in part because the Federal Reserve has signaled its intention to purchase large quantities of government bonds. When the government sells five-year bonds, it’s borrowing at a rock-bottom 1.18 percent annual rate. At the same time, however, investors believe that with the economy growing and global demand booming, inflation has the potential to increase over this same period — i.e. that it should rise at a 1.73 percent annual rate. That difference — 1.18 percent minus 1.73 percent — leads to the expected yield of -.55 percent. Investors in these bonds will be receiving annual interest payments of 50 cents on every $100 worth of bonds. But because the expectation for interest rates is so low, investors had to pay $105.50 for a bond worth $100. Or put another way, because market interest rates are lower than the market’s expectation for inflation over the same period, investors have to pay a greater premium for insurance against inflation. Because of the structure of today’s market, people who buy these bonds are paying the government to hold onto their money.

How do investors come out ahead?

The interest rate that these bonds pay is fixed at -.50 percent. But their underlying value fluctuates based on market conditions. At the end of the day, TIPS are a bet on relative performance. Investors are betting that the value of these bonds will deteriorate less than those of other low interest-paying bonds if inflation picks up. Investors will make money if interest rates decline and/or the CPI rises — especially if inflation come in far ahead of today’s expectations. If interest rates rise and/or the CPI goes down modestly, investors in these TIPS might lose money. If interest rates and the CPI both go in the same direction, but CPI rises more rapidly than interest rates, investors win.

After reading a few articles on the economy, most people temporarily forget the reality that is their own life and feel almost optimistic enough to think about buying a new set of golf clubs. But, unfortunately for the central bankers of the world, gold does not lie.

Governments around the world are creating literal and figurative piles of fiat currency. Although it is dressed up in lipstick and called a stimulus program, it is really an effort to boost exports, a number not as dependent on quality as affordability. That is, the more affordable the export, the more of that export a country is going to sell. And there is really only one way to control the price of exports — through a cheap currency. In a world where countries are struggling to keep their citizens employed — less they get unruly — cheap currency is a sure way to generate at least some jobs as well as some tax revenue. In a world with few choices to get things moving, it is the only choice.

The problem with this logic is, if everyone wants to be competitive, then all countries will have to make a deliberate effort to cheapen their currency through the act of creating more and more of it. That is exactly what is happening today. Imagine these as great piles and stacks of paper currency, standing as high as the eye can see. Perhaps a more apt visual would be great mounds of paper currency that peak at the top much like a mountain . . . or in reality more like great piles of manure. Just sitting there with nowhere to go. The banks will not lend it. And no one wants to spend it. As the saying goes, “You can’t shove that stuff back into the horse.”

Gold is watching all of this from its quiet safety haven in its own corner. And as it quietly watches this process, it is also quietly making new all-time highs. Gold is trading at $1,279.00 an ounce, at the time of writing, after U.S. gold futures for December delivery rose 0.6% to $1,280.90, in the pre-market. In an era where all currencies around the world continue to get cheaper and continue to lose buying power, the one constant bedrock is gold. Governments cannot print more of this yellow metal. If they could, they would. In the meantime, they do not breath a word of its price action and they certainly downplay its importance. Gold does not mind. It will continue to call them out in its own quiet way, making new highs, as more and more currency is created. Gold knows what is going on and its not susceptible to a PR campaign.

Gold is at a new record high, and there’s a lot of talk about it being time to take profits, to expect a serious decline, in fact the end of its 10-year bull market.

Gold is up 16% so far this year. If it ends up for the year it will be its 10th straight year of gains, and the longest bull market for gold since 1920. So yes, by that measurement gold’s bull market is aged.

Those claiming gold’s bull market is ready to top out have sound arguments. Unfortunately, they’re the same arguments we’ve heard several times over the last ten years.

1. Gold is a traditional hedge against inflation, and the threat of inflation has gone away this year. (This year the threat is so gone away it’s been replaced with concerns that deflation is the more likely upcoming problem).

2. Unlike oil or corn, gold is a commodity that doesn’t get consumed. Every ounce of gold ever mined in the history of time is still in existence on the planet. It’s in the hands of central banks, investors, jewelry-makers, and the jewelry already stashed away in vaults and households. Yet still more gold is coming out of the ground every day. Why should it become more valuable?

Sound reasoning. But it’s still a case of supply and demand.

The demand side still has considerable potential. For instance, central banks have always held significant amounts of gold as part of their reserves. However, as gold was declining in the 1990′s central banks sold considerable amounts of gold from their reserves for various reasons. In fact, that central bank selling near the lows drove gold down to levels it may not otherwise have seen at its low in 2001.

There are rumors that central banks plan to bring the levels of gold in their reserves back up again over the next year. It makes sense given the losses they’re seeing on the paper they replaced the gold with (primarily dollars), and the potential bubble in treasury bonds.

Demand for gold as a traditional safe haven by investors should also continue as uncertainties in currencies, markets, and economies are likely to be with us for some time yet.

But I prefer technical analysis as a better guide to the direction of gold than the always conflicting opinions regarding surrounding conditions.

And the consensus of our technical indicators remains on our latest buy signal for gold.

Gold lends itself quite well to trend following, and support/resistance levels. Its 30-week moving average continues to prove itself as important support, while the breaking of trendlines to the downside are negatives.

One of the easiest ways to participate in the advance of gold prices is through either the gold exchange traded fund, the SPDR Gold Trust ETF, or using leverage via longer-term options on GLD or through the CME Group Futures contract, GC. Both GLD and GC move in lockstep with the price of gold, and are easily converted back to dollars. This liquidity is important. After all, the urge to get that new set of golf clubs may one day get too strong to contain.
